Default Salmon River Stocking

There was the tell tale sign of tire tracks from a good sized truck near a few choice pools along the fly-fishing sections of the Salmon River Monday afternoon. I have confirmed with the DEEP that the breeders are in!!!! The Eagle has landed!!! You will need 4X at least. I recommend 3X. Go with some large bead head wooly buggers!!! You might want to take those barbs off too....if you dare. The fish will appreciate it

The melt-off and rain water has brought the river up quite a bit these past two days, so those fish have probably been pushed around a bit. Big flies and covering a lot of water should be the name of the game this week!
